The view and home were amazing! We enjoy all the amenities and didn't want for anything! The property manager, Ros, was on top of any concerns or questions we had. We enjoy a very relaxing time in a beautiful home!

This was our 3rd time staying at Barrier Dunes, each time we have tried a different location for various reasons. "Knee Deep in Paradise" has taken over as the best location that we have stayed at in Cape San Blas! The condo was perfect - up to date and beautifully decorated, labels indicating where things are located (which is a nice reminder to put things back where you found them!), shelves/cabinets were well stocked in case you forgot to bring something, and the entire place was super clean. I was pleasantly surprised to see a baby/dog gate at each stairwell, dog bowl already out on the kitchen floor, and little treats for the dog as well - it's the little things that show when someone is willing to go the extra mile! Our family (and dog) had a wonderful week with lots of laughter, relaxation, and quality time spent together. We will definitely be back to "Knee Deep in Paradise" for our next trip to the Cape! Updated, well thought out floor plan. Beautiful open concept top floor. Keep in mind, this is a reverse floor plan home (bedrooms on 2nd floor, living on 3rd) if you have light sleepers. We brought sound machines and used provided box fans, so not really an issue for our littles. House sits a little further back from beach, but the cart provided was great help and the pool was amazing to come back to! We had a great time... definitely recommend!

We had a great time with 4 kids staying there. They were never bored with having the pool at the house and beach so close by. There was plenty of other things you can do around the area too. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. The top floor was nice and open so the adults could play cards at the table while the kids watched a movie on the other side of the room and still keep an eye on everything. There's a balcony off every room which was nice and the one outside the 2 king bedrooms was screened in, which was great at night. We would definitely go back and stay again!

We had a beautiful week in Cape San Blas - the house was perfect for our party of 6 (my husband, 15 year old son, 11 year old daughter, 6 year old daughter, my mom, and myself) and our miniature Dachshund. The house is immaculate, modern, perfectly decorated and had everything we could want for a week at the beach. We have stayed in many rental homes on the east coast over the past 15 years and this home was by far the most beautiful, cleanest, most comfortable and best equipped. It was incredible to wake up to the ocean out our front door every morning. We enjoyed lazy mornings on the top deck off of the kitchen. The beach is an easy walk from the house and they supply Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys.

The beds were very comfortable. My husband has a bad back and his number one complaint when we are on vacation is that the bed is uncomfortable and he wakes up in pain. My husband and I slept in one of the master bedrooms, my mom was in the other, and we always woke up refreshed. My son slept in the room with the queen bed and he loved his privacy, comfort and space. My two daughters slept in the room with the bunk beds and they loved all of the nooks and shelves to put their toys on. My youngest daughter is now certain that she wants a similar bunkbed configuration built into her room at home :-)

The wide open floor plan of the upper level of the house was perfect. It more than afforded us each enough personal space while being able to enjoy being in the same room together. Oftentimes, in the morning or evening, the kids would be watching a movie, my mother and I would be working on a puzzle at the grand dining room table, and my husband and son would be checking emails on their laptops from the other end of the table. The Wi-Fi in the house was strong and we never had any issues getting a good cellular signal through our Verizon Wireless plan.

The beach is gorgeous and very private. We brought our dog on the beach every day and he enjoyed walking the beach with us. We found so many beautiful shells on our long walks. We were so fortunate to have beautiful weather all week - the sunshine and breeze always kept us comfortable. The kids enjoyed taking a dip in the pool when we would come back from the beach in the late afternoon. The pool temperature was adequate, but I prefer a very warm pool and we will have it heated next time.

My husband and son found many good local restaurants and the local Piggly Wiggly had everything one might need for a weeklong stay. There is also a really nice bike path right along the main road next to the house. We did not use it since we left our bikes at home, but will have to remember to bring our bikes next year.

We will definitely be back. This was one of the most relaxing and idyllic vacations we have taken and so much of that had to do with the calming feeling of the home and surrounding ocean. If I were to design my ideal beach house, this would be it. Thanks for sharing your house with us.

We had a great spring break rental at the cape. Carolyn was a great property manager!!

This was our first trip to Cape San Blas & it was truly the best beach rental experience we have ever had! The condo itself was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean/maintained & had everything stocked as advertised. They even have linens specifically for pets, which was just perfect. The condo location was a short walk to the beach access AND they have a cart to help you carry anything you might need. There is an outside shower to rinse off at the condo & even has warm water! The Trading Post was a short drive away & they really do have everything you need (groceries, fresh produce, beer/wine, fresh meats, frozen foods, etc.). Next door is Weber's Donuts, which were seriously amazing. You need to get there early in the morning as there was a line & they close once they sell out. On the other side, Cape coffee & ice cream. In Port St. Joe we ate at KrazeFish & Peppers, both were great. In Cape San Blas, we ate at The Sand Bucket BBQ which was also yummy. Since they are still recovering from Hurricane Michael, there was a lot of debris/damage in Cape San Blas & Port St. Joe. Several businesses were still not open. But, let me tell you they are doing all they can to rebuild & I am so glad we were able to help contribute to their local economy, even in this small way. Thanks for an amazing experience & we will be back ASAP!

The place was so cute and so well stocked. We forgot coffee and didn't realize it until the morning when coffee was immediately needed. There happened to be enough K cups for the adults to have coffee before going to the grocery store. The neighborhood is nice and everyone was very friendly. The walk to the beach was not long and the beach was just beautiful as always. I think we will be back! Oh and not to mention how nice the 2 ladies at the rental place were. They were so accommodating to us when our 2 yr old got sick on the way down. Thanks so much for that!

We had a great stay in the townhome. It was very thoughtfully stocked with everything we wanted/needed. The home is very clean and well decorated. The kids loved all of the beach toys and really enjoyed the heated pool. The adults enjoyed the great selection of books! The area is still recovering from hurricane Michael but is still a beautiful, relaxing and wonderful place to visit. We will be back!

I found the beach home to be beautiful, warm and welcoming! The home offered outstanding amenities and sits perfectly placed in a short, comfortable and enjoyable walking distance of the picture perfect beach. The location was outstanding, the price was comfortably affordable and it offered a great time to spend with friends, family and even pets! I couldn’t have found a better getaway and will be booking again. I highly recommend Knee deep in paradise and can’t wait to get back for another visit.

Loved Cape San Blas, Apalachicola, and Port St. Joe. While they have a lot of work to do after the hurricane, everyone was very nice and the park was gorgeous!
